This fine grade pumice powder comes from pumice ground into a fine powder. Pumice rock is an abrasive igneous rock formed after a volcano erupts and it's this abrasive quality that makes it useful for many applications as an exfoliant and a heavy-duty cleaner.

In skincare applications, it can be used to exfoliate the skin to remove dead skin and other matter. 

Note that this powder is superfine and is ideal to use as an exfoliant in facial scrubs and in formulations where the application is on soft, sensitive skin.
