ABOUT ABYSSINIAN OIL
Originating from Abyssinia, the highlands area in Ethiopia, Abyssinian Oil is extracted from the seeds of the Crambe abyssinica plant and is also known as Crambe Seed Oil. It contains exceptionally high levels of monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acids (particularly Erucic Acid C22 at up to 65% - the highest known in any plant oil) and has a unique molecular structure not yet found in any other naturally occurring oil.

It's also chemically very close to the oil that our skin produces naturally and contains a wealth of other vitamins, minerals and antioxidants such as omega-3 and 6, Vitamins A, C and E, as well as several B Vitamins. Due to its chemical structure, it's a lightweight oil that absorbs and spreads quickly, without feeling heavy or leaving a greasy residue. Not to mention, it is also considered non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t block your pores.
