Aloe Vera 10X Gel is not reconstituted from Aloe Vera Powder, it is pure Aloe Vera Gel (liquid gel) and contains a minimum of 4% Aloe Solids. It contains minerals (such as Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc, Chromium and Selenium), Vitamins (A, B, C, E, folic acid), Amino Acids and active components including enzymes and polysaccharides.
Aloe Vera is renowned for its vast beneficial properties and has been used for treating skin complaints since ancient times. It has shown fantastic results when used to ease symptoms of acne, dermatitis &, psoriasis, and is also beneficial to soothe burns, stings, rashes and other skin irritations.
Most commonly used in sunscreen and after sun care products, Aloe Vera is also widely used in a variety of other cosmetic products such as hand and body lotions, bath and body products, shaving preparations, styling gels, hand sanitisers, shampoos and conditioners, cleansers and moisturisers. It is also used in various pharmaceutical products like first aid sprays and creams, anti-acne treatments, medicated powders/talcs, topical anaesthetics and hydrocortisone creams.
Our Aloe Vera Gel 10X Decolourised is freshly harvested from the leaves of the Aloe Vera Barbadensis. The inner gel (fillet) is removed via mechanical squeezing and filtered to remove the pulp and fibre. It is then 'decolourised' via carbon filtration to remove residual aloin and reduce the odour to ensure colour stability and to minimise the Aloe inherent pungency. It is then stabilized with a minute percentage of food grade preservatives, as is needed for all pure Aloe Vera gels.
